I would like to understand the principle of pneumatic pumps, as well as the precautions for using them
The principle of a pneumatic pump is to use gas under certain pressure – it can be nitrogen, compressed air; I’ve also heard that steam can be used as well, though I’ve never seen it in practice – to push the diaphragms at both ends back and forth through a pneumatic valve, thereby creating suction and pressure to draw out the material. The principle is similar to that of a diaphragm pump. The main thing to note is that the pressure of the compressed gas should not be too high, otherwise it is easy to damage the diaphragm.
