Notice on Training for API Spec. 6D: Version 25 Standard To all relevant parties: API officially released the 25th version of API Spec 6D, the \"Valve Specification\", on November 11, 2021, and it was updated with Amendment 1 in April 2022； API 6D is widely used internationally. The new version of the 6D standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, materials, welding, quality control, assembly, testing, marking, documentation, and process control of axial valves, ball valves, check valves, gate valves, and plug valves used in the oil and gas industry, in order to ensure the stable production of reliable and sustainable energy in this sector. The revised new version of the standard not only meets the evolving needs of the industry but also expands its applicability. Some of these updates include: the addition of axial valves as a new type of valve, establishment of minimum requirements for heat treatment and bolts, modifications to the marking requirements, design validation guidelines, and changes to the specification title to reflect its widespread use and applicability in the oil and gas industry. To help entities involved in the manufacturing of pipeline valves for the oil and gas industry promptly and accurately understand the relevant content, make preparations for implementing the new version of the standard, enable enterprises to thoroughly grasp its provisions and technical changes, stay informed about its development trends, enhance the overall competence of their personnel, and ultimately strengthen their core competitiveness, the OcerT Training Center will host a training session on the 25th edition of API Spec 6D in Shanghai on July 1–2, 2022. The training will provide a systematic interpretation, detailed analysis, and comprehensive discussion of the standard, while also clarifying any ambiguities or errors contained therein. The relevant details are notified as follows: 1. Course Introduction: OcerT OuXinMoDi Training Center has long been engaged in API consultation and guidance, as well as API standard training; it serves as a consulting partner for API-related activities. Its goal is to provide high-quality consulting services and professional training for the oil and gas industry, thereby meeting the ongoing needs of this sector. Those who complete the training courses and pass the examinations will be issued a certificate of completion for the latest version of API 6D. This is of great significance for improving the technical skills of enterprise employees, helping companies upgrade their production equipment and processes, ensuring product quality, and obtaining and maintaining API certification.
