Have you played online games? Besides the official servers, some smaller private servers have been spreading on TikTok recently. Out of nostalgia, I started playing. I had a minor dispute with someone inside, so I paid to use the advanced player mode. What impressed me the most was that the percentage allocated for top-ups kept increasing, eventually doubling. I guessed that the service might be shutting down soon, so they tried to reap as much profit as possible before that happened; indeed, it wasn’t long before the login page became unavailable. Thinking about the declining condition of these forums these days, and with the introduction of permanent VIP memberships today, it seems like they’re trying to make one last profit grab
