The salary isn’t specified, nor is it clear what the job entails. It seems that few people are being recruited for this position; it would be better to go straight to design firms and offer high salaries to attract talent. Those with relevant certifications probably won’t come here. With a degree in chemical engineering plus a senior engineer title, the usual salary is 20+ years’ worth of earnings
I have certifications in chemical engineering, occupational safety, and a mid-level professional title. I work in a company in a technical role, but I have no intention of leaving that job; occasionally I do some part-time design work outside of work. I spend most of my time at a state-owned enterprise, and currently I’m preparing for the registration exam in power engineering :)
