Please ask the expert to introduce which manufacturers produce air preheaters that are commonly used in hydrogen production converters for large-scale chemical plants This post was last edited by www*ngyu on 2008-12-19 09:07]
I have been comparing plate heat exchangers from six well-known foreign manufacturers: Dutch APEX, British APV, Swedish Alfa Laval, German GEA, German W.Schmidt, and the Japanese company HISAKA (Nissha Seisakusho). If anyone has any information on this topic, please share it with me. Thank you! I hope that China’s level of design and manufacturing in heat exchangers will soon catch up to and surpass theirs; let’s all work together!
1 German GEA plate heat exchangers: 010-81929803. Beijing Greenleading Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Greenleading) was established in 1998 and is currently a large-scale domestic company specialized in the industrial development, research, production, and sales of thermal engineering products. After five years of development, Greenleading has introduced products from internationally renowned brands, including German GEA heat exchangers, Danish SONDEX heat exchangers, Finnish KOLMEKS pumps, Finnish HOGFORS valves, and Danish DDH units for simultaneous supply of cold water, hot water, electricity, and gas. While selling products from outstanding domestic and international brands, Greenleading takes advantage of its network capabilities to establish in China a Sino-German joint venture for Harbin FLEX heat exchanger units, a Beijing FLEX heat exchanger unit holding company, as well as a wholly-owned production facility in Harbin. Main products: plate heat exchangers, heat exchange units, water pumps, valves, tri-generation units ; Investment advisory services (energy sector—combined heat and power) ; Drafting of project proposal ; Drafting of feasibility report ; Drafting of financial analysis report ; Heat source, heat network design, and investment ; Overseas **loan project planning and agency sales ; Operation management analysis reports, etc. Application areas: energy heating, cogeneration, power plants, refrigeration and air conditioning, ice water systems, chemical and petrochemical industries, inorganic chemicals, light industry and pharmaceuticals, paper manufacturing, sugar industry, edible oils, dairy and beverage industry, metallurgy and steel industry, aluminum industry, copper industry, etc. FLEX Thermal Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as FLEX) is a joint venture established in China by Greenleading and the German GEA Group. It is a company that specializes in providing products such as plate-type oil coolers for power systems, oil cooling units, closed-circuit water coolers, and central coolers; it is also engaged in the import of equipment for power systems as well as related installation projects. Greenleading is the Chinese office of Danish company DDH Contractor A/S, abbreviated as DDHC. DDHC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Danish Det Danske Hedeeslskab (DDH) group. DDHC is a project company that specializes in turnkey projects and operations in the fields of energy and the environment. With 20 years of expertise, DDHC focuses on areas such as combined heat and power/combined heat, power, and cooling; wastewater treatment; district heating; biomass energy plants; and industrial process control systems (SCADA). Additionally, Greenleading serves as the Chinese representative office for Finnish HÖGFROS valves (valves used in heat exchange units) and Finnish KOLMEKS pumps. HÖGFORS’ “Blue Line” valves find wide use in the heating and energy sectors, especially in district heating systems. HÖGFORS’ “Blue Line” products include control valves, shut-off valves for closing, and filters. HÖGFORS’ “Silver Line” valve products are designed to meet the various requirements of the processing industry. Our “Silver Line” product range includes V-ball valves designed for control applications with special requirements, as well as actual ball and butterfly valves for safe shutdown. “The valve bodies and sealing materials of the “Silver Wire” products are made of acid-resistant steel, which enables this product series to be used in a wider range of applications across various processing industries. Sealing options include soft sealing and metal sealing for special requirements.
I. Advantages of Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers: 1. Split zone: Another feature of Alfa Laval’s advanced plate design is the split zone design, which is also one of Alfa Laval’s numerous patents. To facilitate connection, modern plate heat exchangers use single-sided inlet and outlet connections. To make full use of the entire heat exchange area, it is necessary to ensure that the fluid is evenly distributed across the entire plate. Alfa Laval’s unique flow zone design ensures even distribution even for the widest plate surfaces. Another notable feature is the lower pressure drop, which allows for a more economical pressure drop to be used for heat transfer, thereby achieving the highest heat transfer coefficient. Other manufacturers, lacking proper flow guiding areas, need to use diagonal flow to distribute fluid across the entire plate surface. The diagonal plate structure complicates piping, requiring two different types of plates and gaskets, which poses significant difficulties for maintenance. 2. Adhesive gaskets: Alfa Laval uses two types of epoxy adhesives in combination to firmly attach the gaskets permanently to their respective grooves, so that the gaskets do not fall out when the heat exchanger is opened. Other manufacturers do not vulcanize the adhesive; some even avoid using two types of adhesives combined, which fails to ensure a strong bond. As a result, the gaskets often fall off when the heat exchanger is opened, forcing the need to replace them. 3. Adhesive-free gaskets: Clip-on gaskets are part of Alfa Laval’s Super Adhesive-Free system, and their advantage lies in the ability to replace the gaskets quickly and easily on-site. The clip-on gasket is connected to the edge of the plate through two prongs, allowing the gasket to be positioned neatly along the gasket groove. In Alfa Laval’s non-stick system design, the sealing function and the latch function are separate; thus, removing the glue fork does not affect the sealing. 4. Advanced frame technology: An excellent clamping bolt system. To facilitate the installation and removal of heat exchangers, Alfa Laval has designed a unique and superior clamping bolt system, which consists of the following components: a. Bearing housings that ensure the bolts are properly positioned and can be tightened easily. b. Anti-slip washers prevent the bolt from rotating when tightened. 5. Five-point metal positioning system: This system is used for heat exchangers with an angle hole diameter of 140 mm or more. The positioning of the plate is determined by five points of metal-to-metal contact: the three points from the upper support rod prevent the plate from moving up and down, and with the two points from the lower support rod, the plate cannot move side to side either. With five-point positioning, the plate assembly can move back and forth on the support rod without any resistance. The gasket provides accurate sealing, with no defects at all, and its lifespan is also longer. This is Alfa Laval’s unique design. This system allows one person to easily install and remove the heat exchanger using simple tools, which is unmatched by other manufacturers. All bolts are rolled and coated with anti-corrosion material and lubricant, and covered with plastic sleeves. Heavy hex nuts make installation and removal easier, while all clamping bolts are installed on the side of the heat exchanger.
It’s all information from the internet; I hope it will be helpful to you. You can ask their sales staff for relevant information and seek technical advice; don’t hesitate to ask – the more detailed, the better! I think they would be happy to provide you with such information as well (for potential clients); foreign companies pay close attention to this! !
Have used Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers
Domestically, high-tech orchid-related enterprises in Gansu are also producing similar products.

Also, they are all heat exchangers made of corrugated plates. Plate heat exchangers also come in various forms such as plate-fin, plate-shell, and flat-plate types – can they all be used for this purpose?
The one that everyone uses feels the best. Thanks for the advice
Lanke is part of Lanshi; Lanke is a subsidiary of Lanshi
