This article is reproduced from: http://www.shllzdh.cn/information/913.html. Keywords of this article: vortex flow meter. When using a vortex flow meter, it is necessary to pay attention to three key parameters: the instrument’s temperature, frequency, and operating pressure; these are quite important for accurate measurement. Next, the editor will provide a detailed introduction to these three parameters. Three important parameters measured by vortex flowmeters: Parameter setting: For the parameter setting of the instrument, we generally rely on the instrument’s basic parameter table to determine the required settings and data. But this also depends on the circumstances; different regional conditions vary, which leads to variations in the calculated data. Working pressure: This is because, for a given amount of steam, the higher the working pressure of the steam, the greater the corresponding density; as a result, the steam metering volume increases, which entails significant costs and thus raises expenses. Therefore, in actual use, if such a problem occurs, we should promptly seek the cause and resolve it. Temperature: In superheated steam, temperature requirements are quite critical. For example, with superheated steam at 1.1 MPa, the corresponding density at 250 degrees is 4.75 kg/cm3. If the measured temperature is lower, say 210 degrees, then the corresponding density is 5.24 kg/cm3; this means that we have to pay 10% more to the steam supplier when making the payment. Above, the editor has briefly introduced to you the three basic parameters that need to be known in advance when using vortex flowmeters for measurement; if you have any additional information, feel free to leave a comment.
