It represents a betrayal of the serious political commitments made by the United States to China, and it is an outright provocation regarding the Taiwan issue – an act of extremely bad nature with extremely serious consequences. 　　“Seeking independence by relying on beauty is a dead end. The historical background of the Taiwan issue is clear and obvious, and the fact that both sides of the strait belong to one China, as well as the current situation, is unmistakable.
