We use a shell-based powder production system; the temperature at the outlet of the grinder is kept between 105 and 115 degrees. The bags used in the coal powder collector can withstand temperatures of up to 150 degrees for short periods of time, but after about a week of operation, inspections of these bags reveal that they are always damaged. The pulse valve uses Asco’s. The backflow pressure is 0.45–0.5 MPa. I would appreciate some advice from experts: why does the bag keep burning out? ? ?
Haven’t used it. However, I think it might be worth considering installing temperature and flame sensors on the bag filter, as well as control valves at the air inlet, so that the sensors can be linked to the control valves and the backwashing gas (compressed nitrogen would be ideal).
Some coal types have a high volatility content, and drying them for powder production can lead to spontaneous combustion. Could LZ provide the general coal quality analysis data for such coal types for everyone’s reference?
What does instant temperature resistance of 150 degrees mean? Can it withstand a temperature of 120 degrees for a long time? Is the dust bag burned out? Is it the cloth bag that’s damaged? Whether the coal powder collected in the bags is removed in a timely manner, whether the bags are heavily clogged with dust, and whether the pressure of the backflow air is too high.
What was said upstairs makes a lot of sense. Another very important factor is: how well is the oxygen level controlled in your system? This includes controlling the oxygen level both during operation and after the system is shut down; it is very important to do so. Dry coal powder can catch fire easily. If the vibration and backflushing mechanisms do not work properly while the system is in operation, coal powder may adhere to the filter bags, either in a scattered or clustered pattern. If the oxygen level in the system is not well controlled under such circumstances, it will inevitably lead to damage to the filter bags. It is recommended that you adjust the injection angle and injection pressure appropriately; most importantly, it is necessary to keep the oxygen content under control!
