For jacketed vessels, if the customer only makes the jacket part, the equipment tank is worn out, and there are requirements such as hydraulic pressure test on the drawing, then when the equipment is inspected by the pot inspection institute, does it have to install the made jacket in place and submit the inspection data after doing the pressure test?

I think there are two problems. First, what you produce is a component of the pressure vessel. As long as the material and wall thickness meet the design requirements, it is fine. Second, your product goes to your next company, which is a pressure vessel production and maintenance company. They are responsible for producing pressure vessels. They combine the various parts of your pressure vessel and do the overall hydraulic pressure. If a manufacturer directly comes to you to repair their equipment, and you have pressure vessel repair qualifications, then you must make the jacket according to the original design drawings of the pressure vessel, and then make a general inspection!
This is a retrofit of old equipment. 1. Check whether the use of the jacket is within the jurisdiction of the "Capacity Regulations". 2. The inner cylinder is also a pressure component (subject to external pressure). The owner needs to provide relevant information about the original product, and conduct a series of inspections before manufacturing, and check whether it can withstand the pressure (including the internal pressure of the cylinder itself and the external pressure of the jacket). 3. It depends on the specific conditions of your equipment, that is, whether it is a pressure vessel, and what kind of medium is used in your jacket. If the medium used is chilled water or hot water, there is no need to report it.
