Where is suitable for a road trip in the summer months of July and August? It’s best to choose one that is suitable for family trips, starting from Liaoning.
Qingdao - Weihai - Yantai - Dalian
Northern Heilongjiang should work; or maybe go to Sichuan or Guizhou – is it hot there?
It’s not difficult: if you’re used to living in the mountains, go to the plains; if you’re used to living inland, go to the coast; if you’re used to living in the north, go to the south; if you’re used to living in the east, go to the west. After spending a long time wandering abroad, return to your hometown.
In July and August, Yunnan and Sichuan are in the rainy season, and thunderstorms are likely; it is advisable to bring rain gear and a jacket when traveling there. Dali and Lijiang are cool, while Jinghong in Banna is relatively hot. The famous mountains in Sichuan are relatively cool, while it gets very hot at the foot of the mountains.
It’s best not to drive directly from Liaoning. If you like the northwest region, then take a flight or train to places such as Xi’an, Baoji, Lanzhou, Tianshui, and Yinchuan, and then rent a car there. You can visit the Gannan Grasslands, Qinghai Lake, the Salt Lakes, the desert areas of Dunhuang, the military training grounds at the foot of the Qilian Mountains in summer, as well as the Silk Road/Hexi Corridor. The weather there isn’t hot, and you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of China’s northwest.
Gannan is nice; it’s known as the little Switzerland of the East
Go to Guizhou; it’s cool there. :):)
