How many catalytic cracking units are there in China currently?

May I ask: How many catalytic cracking units are currently in use in China? I know that CNPC has 44 sets of them, distributed across its 26 refining and chemical companies. The initial design capacity was 41.75 million tons per year; after the renovation, the actual processing capacity was 50.492 million tons per year. Of this, 4 units were not put into operation, accounting for 1.4 million tons per year. The total processing volume in 2006 was 45.1893 million tons per year. But I’m not sure about the situation at Sinopec and other local refineries; I would be very grateful if experts could help! !
Where did the original poster get the data from? Authoritative data or hearsay?
In my personal opinion, individual or private catalytic devices simply cannot be counted.
It seems the poster works for CNPC. It’s indeed difficult to collect these data these days; it’s not clear what the utilization rate is this year!
There are many other refineries as well, and it’s impossible to keep track of them

Many private enterprises have built numerous small refineries under other names, each with a capacity of 600,000 to 800,000 tons; it is impossible to keep track of them all.

CNPC and Sinopec prepare annual statistical yearbooks for their facilities, providing information on the production output of their key plants. Data from 2007 is available, while the statistics for 2008 have not yet been released. According to statistics from 2007, Sinopec currently has 51 catalytic cracking units with a capacity of 52.86 million tons per year.
