There are generally three ways to transport natural gas: by ship, by truck, and by pipeline. For shipping by sea and road, transport is carried out at normal pressure and low temperature (-162 degrees Celsius), that is, in liquid form ; Whether it is transported through pipelines or in gaseous form, there shouldn’t be any particular requirements regarding temperature. For buried natural gas pipelines, since they are buried below the freezing level of the soil, the temperature is generally around 0–20 degrees, depending on the climate in the location of the project. Of course, if it’s buried shallowly, temperatures over 20 degrees are also quite common.
