I would like to ask: when dichloromethane dissolves polyethylene glycol 8000, does this dissolution process occur through molecular diffusion or ion diffusion? Will there be chloride ions in the middle? Why? When is the process of dissolution a physical process? When is it a chemical process? When does it exist as a molecule? When is it present as ions?
