Regarding the material of accumulators for pump seals

API614 specifies that the material for compressors’ accumulators must be stainless steel; however, there are no clear specifications regarding the material used for accumulators in pump seals (such as PLAN53B sealing scheme in API682). I would like to ask everyone what material is better to use? ! Thank you!
Generally, the lubricating oil systems in power units are made of stainless steel, including all the pipelines, as the lubricating oil needs to be clean and free of impurities, and it is necessary to ensure long-term operation. Pump seals, on the other hand, have lower requirements for the system
If the pump uses a sealing scheme specified in API682 standard such as PLAN53B, it constitutes a relatively critical component in such systems, and the medium handled is quite special. The materials used are generally metals, with stainless steel being the most common choice, including for the pipelines as well.
