Description: Detailed soil survey, piling, C/S/AMEIPEMB, temporary facilities (including temporary offices, temporary warehouses, utility connections). As mentioned above; I know everything else, but I’m not sure what PEMB means. It refers to several sub-items in project construction. Last edited by wswwsw3869 on 2009-2-2 08:22.]
I found one; it’s a light steel structure (PEMB) or prefabricated steel structure building (PEMB). I’m not sure if that’s correct.
It could be: Pre-engineered metal building, Pre-Engineered Light Steel Structure Building
If you know the meaning of one of the letters, it’s easy to find its full form on Google. For example, if you know that m stands for metal, then enter “PEMB metal” in Google to see what results appear: http://www.google.cn/search?hl=zh-CN&newwindow=1&q=PEMB+++metal+&btnG=Google+%E6%90%9C%E7%B4%A2&meta=&aq=f&oq= Another example: if you know that B stands for building, then enter “PEMB building” in Google to see what comes up: http://www.google.cn/search?hl=zh-CN&newwindow=1&q=PEMB+++building&btnG=Google+%E6%90%9C%E7%B4%A2&meta=&aq=f&oq==
According to Soil Survey, it means “soil measurement”; this should be related to the construction industry. PEMB likely refers to pre-engineered metal buildings, that is, buildings made from prefabricated metal components
I’m passing by here; could I ask the original poster what C/S/A and MEI mean? Thank you!
I don’t know many abbreviations; let’s take a look~~~~~~~~~:)
Could you please tell me the meanings of the other few English abbreviations? Seeking knowledge
