Many friends in this forum have realized the limitations of silicon tetrachloride in polycrystalline production. I wonder if anyone here knows how various factories make full use of dichlorodihydrosilane. Due to its properties, dichlorodihydrosilane is a more dangerous substance than TCS – can it be stored? I hope experienced folks can give some advice. . . . . . . .
In some facilities, dichlorosilane is mixed back into the feed liquid for re-circulation and distillation, while in other facilities it is directly discharged into the exhaust gas treatment system. I recommend constructing an additional distillation tower to purify dichlorosilane

Dichlorodihydrosilicon cannot be hydrolyzed; it vaporizes upon exposure to air, so it is useless. As for the method mentioned above of synthesizing it, I am not aware of such a method, but handling large amounts of DCS in this way will pose problems
