What is the structural form of the expansion joint at the outlet of the sulfur incineration furnace?

One of our small sulfur incineration furnaces is used to burn sulfur with air in order to produce sulfur dioxide; the air flow rate is around 5000 m3/h, and the furnace temperature ranges from 1000 to 1050°C. The flue gas exiting the incinerator goes to the waste heat boiler, with expansion joints used to connect them. Initially, ordinary stainless steel wave-shaped expansion joints were used, but these often suffered from corrosion, resulting in leaks of SO2 gas. Later, steel-lined castables were used instead, but how should such expansion joints be designed to have the necessary expansion capacity? We don’t have the details yet; please ask the experts for guidance. Thank you!
The casting material is mainly applied to the guide tube of the expansion joint; it is sufficient to leave a gap during filling. Generally, the distance of this gap corresponds to the axial compensation amount of the expansion joint. The part of the guide tube that remains exposed after filling is usually made of 310S material.
