I have just been promoted to head of the quality management department in a fertilizer company that specializes in compound fertilizers and mixed fertilizers. I would appreciate it if everyone could share their insights on how to do this job well.
As the quality supervisor, this is no small task at all~~! First of all, I believe that quality is the lifeblood of a company; without quality, nothing else can be considered~~! Quality is life; therefore, efforts must be made in quality management. Quality is not merely about inspection or testing – it’s important to clarify these distinctions first. Quality management involves the participation of all employees. On this basis, quality management regulations, specific implementation methods, and supervision mechanisms need to be established. Only by putting these elements together can success be achieved. As for how to establish quality management systems, it should be done based on the characteristics of one’s own products, covering the entire process from raw materials to finished products. Alternatively, one can also refer to the quality management practices of successful companies and adapt them to one’s own needs. First, determine the quality goals to be achieved; these quality goals must be broken down to various departments and units. There must also be corresponding quality management regulations to assess the achievement of quality goals, along with detailed assessment plans.
