In other words, the inhalation resistance has increased; the filter needs to be cleaned.
Monitor the operation of the filter; an increase or sudden decrease in resistance indicates that it needs to be replaced.
Are you referring to the resistance of self-cleaning filters? If so, the resistance increases – there’s too much dust, and other factors that lead to higher resistance. As a result, the inlet pressure of the air compressor drops. The pressure ratio of the air compressor increases, which in turn leads to higher energy consumption. Moreover, dust can easily get inside, which is detrimental to the proper operation of the air compressor!
What you mentioned, LZ, seems to not be the resistance of the air filter! It should be the design resistance meter at the inlet of the air compressor! What it actually reflects is the flow rate of the air compressor, and this control point is part of the anti-surge interlock system. The air compressor anti-surge system protects the unit by adjusting the flow rate through temperature and pressure compensation based on the inlet resistance. The filter resistance at the compressor inlet, as imagined by everyone, is a different measurement point from the compressor inlet resistance mentioned by LZ. It measures the resistance of the specific set of filters that are currently in use at the compressor inlet. It is also equipped with an interlock mechanism, but it’s not designed for shutting down the compressor; rather, it triggers an automatic backwashing action when the filter resistance increases. - This post was last edited by liquefier on 2009-2-3 21:15]
I agree with what was said above; the inlet pressure gauge for air compressors is designed as part of the anti-surge system for centrifugal compressors!

The imported unit is referred to as the \"throat difference,\" which reflects the flow rate of the air compressor. In the anti-surge system, this value is used together with the outlet pressure of the unit to control the anti-surge valve. The greater the opening angle of the inlet guide vanes of the air compressor, the larger the throat difference, and thus the safer the operation of the unit.
