Hello, I have read all these posts and feel that they are not quite right. They say that the return valve should be opened appropriately when the pump is under pressure. Could it be that this valve is opened manually?
The minimum flow check valve is commonly used abroad. When the pump outlet flow is lower than a certain value, the minimum flow check valve opens to ensure the normal operation of the pump./
The reason why the pump sets the minimum flow pipeline is that the system working conditions require the pump flow to have a large flow range. When the flow is small to a certain value, in order to ensure that the pump can work normally, part of the flow flows back to the inlet of the pump so that the pump flow is not lower than the minimum flow value. An automatic recirculation valve can be installed at the outlet of the pump, preferably imported.
My factory uses a canned pump, and the minimum return line is set at the end of the pump. The minimum return line is a very thin 15mm pipe. Usually our valve is a fully open stop valve. There should be no big harm in such a thin pipe. If you open it at ordinary times, if you don't open it normally and the flow is not enough when you go to the site, I'm afraid it won't be good. Then you don't need to open it and just close the outlet.；
Some data say that during the working process of the pump, when the flow rate is 30% of the rated value, in order to ensure that the pump can work normally, part of the flow flows back to the inlet of the pump so that the pump flow rate is not lower than the minimum flow value.
