Currently, with oil resources in short supply, low-oil ignition devices have been widely used in power plant boilers. Are those shortcomings still present?
In essence, the low-oil ignition technology is a technique that replaces oil with coal – less oil is used and more coal is utilized, as coal is cheaper than oil after all. The shortcomings of the existing technology are as follows: during normal operation of the boiler, there are issues related to changes in the design parameters of the original burner as a result of the use of a main burner; during startup with a cold boiler, there are problems with the complete combustion of coal powder, as well as questions regarding whether the dust collector can be put into use.
