Anyone is using PROⅡ to simulate the alcohol distillation section. Let’s discuss it together. You are welcome to communicate and share your opinions.
We have been using it and have done both three-effect and six-effect thermal integration.
Can the experts above share your 6-effect example with everyone? I also use multi-effect distillation for separation, but many engineering things are unclear and I don’t know if it can be realized, such as the thermal coupling temperature difference. The more effective numbers, the more they involve each other. If one load cannot be reached, it will affect the subsequent coupling. How did you deal with it? I look forward to your reply!
Examples cannot be shared, and a confidentiality agreement has been signed with the unit. The coupling temperature difference is 8 to 10 degrees, and forced circulation is required. In fact, multi-effect distillation is a self-adjusting process. Problems with one effect will affect its previous parameters. Finally, it reaches stability. The degree of dehydration can be controlled by adjusting the heating steam of the first stage. The temperature difference of the 6th effect is small, and it is only calculated during calculation, and has not been put into practical application. The 3rd effect is mostly used.
Friends on the 2nd floor, I have the opportunity to ask you for advice. In actual engineering applications, 3 effects are generally used. I wonder what is the error range between your final simulation and the actual situation?
It should be said that it is relatively consistent with the calculation. It is estimated that the relevant data provided by PROII for this species is relatively accurate.
It would be best to post some pictures! ! This is better!
Isn’t the 5-tower differential pressure process commonly used now?
