It’s not ideal; it’s best to consult experts from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, as their DMTO technology has already been used in Shenhua’s 1.8 million-ton methanol production project.
There are no large-scale industrial facilities for the MTP technology in fluidized beds; only pilot tests exist, and it may be a technology developed by Tsinghua University.

What the poster is referring to is undoubtedly the technology from Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University developed the pilot-scale technology for fluidized-bed methanol-to-propylene (FMTP) conversion; the pilot scale allowed for the processing of 2 kilograms of methanol per hour. On this basis, in collaboration with companies such as Sinopec and Huainan Fertilizer Plant, an industrial-scale FMTP facility capable of processing 30,000 tons of methanol per year was built, with construction starting in 2007.
