It seems to be a problem with the scaling factor. Post your picture so everyone can take a look.
Modify the scale factor to get the appropriate size
Check if the label under your main unit is set to 1. Set Properties/Main Units/Annotations to 1 to get 1: 1 actual size
Maybe your labeling ratio is wrong. Measure it first. Many people want to know the size without measuring it. They like to use the dimension mark to see what the size is. This method is not good.
You can use the attributes to see it. There are x increment and y increment in the attributes.
What the poster said is that the marked dimensions (numbers) are different from what you drew? If so, go to the dimension style and change the measurement ratio.
If the drawing is not too complex, you can also use 'Edit Dimensions' to modify it to the correct size, but this method should be used with caution...

If the drawing drawn by the poster is drawn according to the actual size, it must be that the "Dimensioning Style---Main Unit-----Measurement Unit Scale Factor" is not set to "1". Another possibility is that the poster drew the straight line as a diagonal line without following the orthogonal rules, and then used linear annotation. This will definitely be inconsistent.
