Be grateful to those who hurt you, for they strengthen your will; be grateful to those who deceive you, for they increase your wisdom; be grateful to those who slander you, for they hone your character; be grateful to those who whip you, for they ignite your fighting spirit; be grateful to those who abandon you, for they teach you independence; be grateful to those who trip you up, for they sharpen your eyes; be grateful to those who criticize you, for they remind you of your flaws.
There’s not that much to be grateful for! But surely, kindness must be repaid with kindness! Face life with a positive attitude at all times!
There are five essential conditions for a person to succeed, and none of them can be missing. Guidance from the wise, help from noble people; in comparison, ordinary folks… Women (men) falling in love; blessings from Buddha. Facing reality bravely – perhaps that’s a very valuable lesson
It’s written very well. What I need to do is: be grateful to those who hurt me, for they temper one’s will; be grateful to those who deceive me, for they increase my wisdom; be grateful to those who slander me, for they strengthen my character; be grateful to those who trip me up, for they sharpen my senses; be grateful to those who criticize me, for they remind me of my flaws. Am I a bit pitiful?
