Let’s discuss what the maximum operating time for the burners in coal water slurry gasifiers is. We have managed to use them for up to 62 days!
The service life of the burners used in the vaporization furnaces by the original poster is relatively short, usually around 3 to 6 months. The burners produced by the 11th Aerospace Research Institute are of relatively high quality in China.
The service life of a burner cannot be determined solely based on the number of days; it must be considered in light of actual conditions such as operating pressure, skill level of the operators, and differences in coal types. It is said to be useful for up to 180 days. With technology being so advanced these days, I don’t think this is a bottleneck issue!
The service life of the burner is related to factors such as process operation, coal type, selected materials, and maintenance. It's better to compare similar devices.
