Should people repair their shielded pump themselves or send it back to the factory for repair?

I saw some good articles in the forum on the repair of shielded pumps, but I’ve heard that few people actually carry out comprehensive repairs on their own; minor issues are fixed by the users themselves, while more serious problems are usually repaired by the manufacturers. I’m curious to know how things are for others – feel free to share your experiences.
If the shielding sleeve, motor coils, stator, or rotor are damaged, it must be sent back to the factory, or original parts must be purchased urgently for on-site installation. If bearings, impellers, etc. are damaged, repair them on site.
Repairs related to the power section must be carried out at the manufacturer’s facility, while routine repairs to the pump body can generally be done at one’s own factory.
It seems everyone has had the same experience
We fix them ourselves; only when they’re really damaged beyond repair do we replace them!
If the bearings, bushings, or thrust discs are damaged, simply replace the faulty parts. When the rotor or stator wears out and causes grounding, replace the rotor or stator accordingly.
It is usually repaired by oneself; if it isn’t worth repairing, it is scrapped and replaced.
We only went back to the factory to replace the shielding sleeve; everything else was repaired by ourselves
