Unloading valve. This is in terms of purpose. Piston valves are usually chosen. Other types of valves are also used.
You should at least tell everyone what material yours is; different media inside the tank require different types of valves
It is best to use straight-through valves so that they can be easily cleared if blocked by material.
I think the discharge valve at the bottom of the tank should be chosen based on the properties of the medium inside the tank. If it’s a fluid, ball valves or disc valves can be used; if the medium contains particles, then disc valves or other similar types of valves are more suitable. The main goal is to allow the medium at the bottom of the tank to be discharged as quickly as possible, thereby preventing blockages. Hehe, this is just my personal opinion – I’m still a beginner. When selecting a valve for unloading, consider the properties of the fluid, etc.; in cases where the fluid is particularly heavy, it’s necessary to install an emergency shut-off valve as well, as a second layer of safety.
