Which company’s technology is used in the 1 million tons per year coal indirect liquefaction oil production demonstration project of Yulin Yankuang Group?
“This project possesses independent intellectual property rights in China and is the first industrial demonstration project for coal indirect liquefaction to produce oil in the country. ” Everyone says that; then what about Lu’an and Yitai, which are in the testing phase? It’s just that their scale is larger, so the risks are greater as well.
Yankuang’s project was approved as an industrial demonstration project, while Lu’an and Yitai have only 160,000 tons, and their projects were approved as pilot-scale experiments. Yankuang’s technology is independently developed and is quite different from that of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The key personnel at Yankuang come from Sasol; therefore, it can also be said that the technology originates primarily from Sasol.
