Impeller symmetrical arrangement

How does the symmetrical arrangement of the impeller eliminate axial thrust? So are the suction inlets of the two sets of symmetrically arranged impellers in opposite directions?

Generally, there is a certain pressure difference between the outlet side and the inlet of the impeller of a centrifugal pump. When the impeller is arranged symmetrically, it can offset the pressure difference and play a role in balancing the axial force.
