Happy New Year everyone! The temperature became low a few days ago, causing several pressure transmitters (ROSEMOUNT3051) in our installation to suddenly display Fail Module. Could you please tell me how to fix this fault? Can it be repaired with a handheld communicator? Thanks!
Just look at the corresponding solutions to the faults that appear in the manual. Generally, there will be such instructions in the manual. As for whether you have tried it with a manual communicator.
Haha, is the pressure transmitter overpressured? It should be that the pressure sensor is broken and needs to be returned to the factory for repair or scrapped. I have also broken a few.
If Fail Module is suddenly displayed, it should mean that it cannot be repaired by oneself. Is it because the membrane box is squeezed out after the medium freezes at a low temperature? If it is removed and the fault still appears, then the only option is to return it to the factory for repair! :handshake
If the meter displays fail module, it does indicate that the meter is damaged. Because the LCD screen has wrong display characters, it indicates that the circuit board is normal. As seen by colleagues above, you need to contact Beijing Far East Rosemount maintenance service. Tel.: 010-58652638 or 58652584
If water enters the meter, the membrane box may be damaged. You cannot repair it yourself.
Is the diaphragm box damaged? If the diaphragm box is damaged, a Fail module will also appear.
It cannot be repaired by yourself, so it is recommended to return it to the factory for repair or replacement.
So what is the fault if only FAIL appears?
Replace it with a good circuit board... This one is broken... When I encounter this situation, I can just replace it with a spare circuit board.··
If you have any broken ones, you can come to me to repair them and charge a cost. You can also sell the broken ones to me!
I can repair it, I hope I can help you
