After passing the CET-6, is it still necessary to take the professional English exam when applying for an engineer title in Tianjin?
The intermediate level doesn’t require a test; the advanced level still does.
In Zhejiang, the intermediate level is not required either, but the advanced level is still necessary
Do I still need to take any exams in Xi’an after passing the CET-6?
Is no one answering my question?
It’s not required for the intermediate level in Liaoning, but an exam is necessary for the advanced level
I passed the intermediate exam in 2002. Although I also have a CET-6 certificate, I still have to take the exam. I’m from Linyi, Shandong.
Do everyone in Shandong have to take it? I am from Jinan
Do they need to take the exam in Inner Mongolia? ? ? Could any gentleman answer this?
I am from Tanggu, Tianjin. Our company is a state-owned enterprise; to apply for an intermediate position, one must pass the English test for professional titles, as it is required for official records. The English test for professional titles is quite simple; if you have passed Level 6, you can achieve a high score without having to retake it.
It seems to be related to educational background; it’s required for those with a bachelor’s degree, not necessary for those with a master’s degree or higher, but it’s required for all senior positions
The personnel regulations vary from place to place! You need to ask your HR department for specifics!
Sigh... even after passing the Level 6 exam, one still has to take CNPC’s English test……
Sigh, I’m from Shandong. I’ve passed the CET-6, but after reading the replies above, it seems I still need to take the exam. I haven’t done the exercises carefully yet.
:Q It would be great if I didn’t have to take the exam! I was admitted to CNPC, and the book titles alone give me a headache! I really don’t want to watch it!
