Recently, while filling out a list of supports and hangers for a pipe with an outer diameter of 159, I encountered a problem. After performing the stress calculations, it was determined that spring type T2.105 should be used, with a connection rod diameter of 10 mm. However, according to the steam and water standards, the diameter of the tie rods for pipes with a DN larger than 65 must be at least 12 mm. There was no other choice but to note this in the remarks, so that attention would be paid to it when ordering the springs. I wonder how everyone solves this problem when it arises?
I haven’t encountered it yet either; I’d like to know as well. Please someone give me some advice!
