This topic is too broad, isn’t it? In engineering drawing, you need to be familiar with the CAD-related drawing standards as well as the relevant standards for mechanical drawing. Practice more* and you’ll become proficient at using it
First, learn *mechanical drawing and descriptive geometry, and then study the courses specific to your field: those in electronics deal with electronic diagrams, those in piping work deal with pipeline diagrams, and those in architecture deal with architectural drawings
What does the original poster do for work?
Accumulating more experience is key; applying it more often helps one master things faster.
I’m still in school and I’m quite interested in CAD! I want to learn more to lay a foundation for my future work.
