What exactly is a drain valve? Please help that prawn
I think it should be the pour valve. Can you tell me what the function of this valve is? Where is it used?
I have not designed the drain valve at the bottom of the tank. The specific function is not clear
It should be a diversion valve, used for draining pipes or equipment. There are two types of bonnet designs for venting and diverting valves. The first is a bolted bonnet. For valves designed in this design, the valve body and the bonnet are connected with bolts and nuts, and are sealed with a wound gasket (made of 304 flexible graphite). Metal rings can also be used for connection when customers have special requirements. The second design is a welded bonnet. For valves designed with this design, the valve body and bonnet are threaded and fully welded for sealing. Transparent welding connections can also be used when customers have special requirements. Vent and drain valve extension body valve is suitable for gate valves, ball valves and globe valves.
