How should “either on the products as received” be translated? We are in the mechanical equipment industry, thank you!
The first part is missing, I guess: product as received: the product upon arrival
The sentence is incomplete. Should it be translated as “on any product that arrives”?
“either” usually refers to one of two options; without any context in this sentence, the translation above can be used: any product that arrives
either on the products as received can also be translated as “or on the products upon arrival””
Can’t give any advice; it’s meaningless!
The explanations for the 4th and 5th floors are both very good. There are only these two meanings; the original poster can choose whichever one fits the context.
"“received” can also be translated as “considered generally accepted, regarded as standard”. It’s impossible to tell without context!
