Learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department,* * The Ministry of Environmental Protection has officially approved the environmental impact report of Yulin Yankuang Group's 1 million tons/year coal indirect liquefaction to oil demonstration project, marking that this strategic demonstration project will soon be implemented in Shaanxi Province. This project has my country's independent intellectual property rights and is the country's first industrial demonstration project of indirect coal liquefaction to oil.
Don’t know when we can actually do it? Maybe I can do a project in water treatment in Xi'an

This project has my country's independent intellectual property rights and is the country's first indirect liquefied coal to liquefaction industrial demonstration project. On the premise that Yankuang Group has successfully carried out research and development of indirect coal liquefaction technology and catalysts, it has begun to move into engineering scale-up and build Yankuang's 1 million tons/year coal-to-liquids industrial demonstration project. The project construction site is located in the North District of Yuheng Coal Chemical Industrial Zone, Qinhe Township, Yuyang District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. After completion, it will have a production capacity of 1 million tons/year of indirect coal liquefaction to oil. The main products include 780,800 tons/year of diesel, 258,400 tons/year of naphtha, 56,480 tons/year of liquefied petroleum gas, and by-products of sulfur, nitrate, liquid argon and gypsum. The total investment is 13.45 billion yuan, of which environmental protection investment is 650 million yuan, accounting for 4.81% of the total investment. The implementation of this project is of great significance to vigorously develop alternative energy sources for oil and gas, realize a sustainable supply and demand strategy for oil and gas resources, and diversify my country's oil supply. The project adopts Yankuang’s independently developed technology and is in line with * * In accordance with industrial policies and cleaner production requirements, after implementing the pollution prevention and risk prevention measures proposed in the project environmental impact assessment report, various pollutants can be discharged up to standard. The approval of this project is a concrete manifestation of the environmental protection departments at all levels achieving "guarantee and pressure" under the current situation, fulfilling the seven commitments of the environmental assessment, and opening up a green channel for quick approval and special approval to expand domestic demand. With the approval of the project environmental impact assessment report, the project has obtained approval from all relevant authorities. It is believed that this strategically significant demonstration project will be launched in Shaanxi soon. Congratulations to Yankuang for winning this project! At present, the high-temperature indirect liquefaction pilot test and the low-temperature pilot test have been completed, and there is already certain technical support! I hope China’s indirect liquefaction technology can develop! This post was last edited by Qingfeng Yaomingyue on 2009-2-4 12:27 ]
Lu'an and Yitai are about to produce oil. It is not the first in the country.
It is foreseeable that the start and construction of the Yankuang project is inevitable: 1. On the subjective side, Yankuang has invested a lot of manpower and material resources in this project, and has obtained approval from Shaanxi Province. * * support (the governor of Shaanxi Province publicly stated his support) 2. Objectively, in January 2007, * * The National Development and Reform Commission’s “Eleventh Five-Year Development Plan for the Coal Industry” clearly stipulates: During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, different independent intellectual property technologies were used to complete 160,000 tons/year and 1 million tons/year indirect liquefaction demonstration projects respectively. ; The former refers to the projects in Lu'an and Yitai using the technology of Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute, and the latter's 1 million tons/grand project is the Yankuang project. Note that this document was issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, and the document calling for the suspension of coal-to-liquids in August last year was issued by the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission. Both are definitely based on National Development and Reform Commission documents. At present, it is certain that Shenhua’s direct liquefaction and indirect liquefaction projects, as well as the projects in Yitai, Lu’an, and Yankuang, will be launched and constructed to complete and operate demonstrations. After the demonstration results are obtained, whether coal-to-liquids projects will be further developed on a large scale can only be determined by actual data.
After all, the treatment of state-owned enterprises is too low! !
Good news, I wonder if Shaanxi’s environmental protection can afford it?
The news is good news, but human overexploitation and resource utilization and environmental protection will always be incompatible brothers. As we all know, a number of coal chemical industry bases have been built in Yulin and its surrounding areas, such as Yankuang Yulin Coalification, Shenhua Coal-to-Liquids Project, Datang Duolun Coal-Based Olefins, Sanlian Chemical Group Company PVC Project, China Salt Gilantai PVC Phase II, Zhongtian Hechuang Dimethyl Ether, Shenhua Coal Coking and a series of chemical continuation projects and planned construction projects. I wonder if any of you have been to Yulin? I've been there twice. The local environment is already very bad. The land has basically become desertified, and the sky is filled with flying sand in spring and autumn. "The scene is very spectacular"! This shows how poor the local water resources are! And so many coal chemical projects have sprung up in this barren desert land like following the trend. I wonder if there will still be a green grass in Yulin in a few years. You can imagine how desolate it is to see so many behemoths smoking black smoke in a vast desert. As we all know, any coal chemical unit is inseparable from water, and coal chemical companies are all large water users. This is especially true for indirect coal liquefaction. Indirect coal liquefaction is a process in which coal is first gasified and then synthesized and liquefied. It is a process of carbon reduction. Compared with direct liquefaction, the water consumption is much larger. This post was last edited by lftyhy on 2009-2-4 23:20 ]
Is it the first one? Doesn’t Shenhua have a direct coal-to-liquid process and an indirect coal-to-liquid process?
No, what about the one in Lu'an?
Isn’t Shenhua’s coal-to-liquids project already producing oil? This should be the first one.
Congratulations to Yankuang, but I personally hope that this type of project will have a higher resource utilization rate and less pollution.
