Standard size of manholes on storage tanks

Our company needs to build a water storage tank capable of holding 1 ton of wastewater (Φ900×H1800 mm), with an agitator installed inside. To facilitate maintenance, a manhole needs to be provided. Manhole. As the name implies, it is designed for people to enter and exit the equipment. Generally, DN500 is more common; for smaller diameters, DN450 can be used. There are also larger ones with a DN700 size; generally, it is determined by the size of the equipment that enters the container, such as heaters, oil collectors, and other such devices. If you need to enter and exit the mixer through an access hatch, then determine the size of the hatch based on the size of the mixer.
DN400, 450, 500, 600 are all acceptable, depending on actual needs. DN400 is relatively small, so it is generally avoided
A 600 model that is suitable for easy maintenance access is generally more appropriate. This is also quite common

DN400 is actually sufficient; those who need to enter will be of smaller build. In Europe and the United States, larger sizes are used, so DN600 is required. Of course, there is no strict requirement as to which size to choose between 400 and 600 – it depends on the actual circumstances

First, check the specifications for the container; there it will indicate the diameter of the container and the corresponding size of the manhole. Then, use HG\T21514-2005 to determine which type of manhole to use. I think that should be sufficient
