Recently, I heard that there is a new process at the Petroleum University, where the feeding method for coking has been changed to bottom feeding with top discharge. Everyone, please analyze what the effects of this will be.

If it refers to a heating furnace, heat should be introduced from the bottom and discharged from the middle, and then introduced from the top as well with discharge from the middle; this can improve the thermal efficiency of the furnace, increase the processing capacity, and delay the coking of the furnace tubes.
There are those that go in from above and out from below, those that go in from above and out in the middle; I think I’ve heard of those that go in from below and out in the middle as well? But I’ve heard of them appearing at the bottom feed outlet!
