The original regeneration system of UOP included an alkali washing system, whereas the latest version replaces it with \"ChlorsorbTM chlorine absorption from regenerated flue gas\". What is the performance of “ChlorsorbTM chlorine absorption for regenerated flue gas”? Especially, how is the control of the water content in the catalyst? Is this regeneration system useful?
Why are there no replies to posts with such questions? It’s sad. If anyone knows the answer, it would be great if they could share it
The CCR using UOP technology in our plant is working very well; there are no abnormalities. . .
Which petrochemical company is on the upper floor? I would like to ask something
What problems can arise in the early stages of operation? Issues only occur later on, when the specific surface area of the catalyst decreases and thus the adsorption of chlorine is reduced
Hello, HiHost on the fifth floor: You mentioned what problems might arise in the early stages of operation. Problems only occur later, when the specific surface area of the catalyst decreases and thus the adsorption of chlorine declines. What exactly are these problems? Could you explain them? I’m reorganizing too
This post was last edited by woshishui_29613 on 2009-8-14 21:31. I’m a beginner; I can ask for advice. Our factory’s reforming unit needs maintenance, and I want to know what I should do to learn as much as possible. Right now, it seems like everything is important and there are many things that need attention, and I’m afraid I might miss the most crucial aspects. Thank you to all the experienced colleagues for your guidance

What problems have emerged during the system’s operation? I hope experts can share their insights
It has good chlorine absorption and is easy to use; however, it causes significant corrosion, and its impact on the catalysts still needs to be observed
As designed, as long as the gas phase temperature of the air being introduced into the separation hopper is maintained at least at 138°C, no liquid phase will form; however, too high a temperature is not favorable for chlorine adsorption
