Questions about gas vent pipes?

The gas vent connection pipe should be installed at the top of the tank. When there is a manhole at the top of the male unit, the gas vent connection pipe can be installed on the manhole cover. Question: Is the gas vent pipe used to prevent the oil and gas in the tank from accumulating to a certain concentration by allowing them to be released? If it’s vented, isn’t a recovery device needed? Do fixed-roof and internal floating-roof tanks, as well as floating-roof tanks, all require vent pipes?

Another issue is that a safety valve is also installed on the vent pipe; is this safety valve the same as the one used for pressure relief?
Based on what you’ve described, it must be a safety vent line designed to release pressure in case the container experiences overpressure; otherwise, a safety valve would not be installed.
