Do I need to remove the top seal of the pressure gauge?

The seal on the top of the pressure gauge – the instructions say it needs to be removed – but soon after that the oil inside the gauge leaked out. If that top seal hadn’t been removed, the oil would have remained intact. Which method is the correct one?
We don’t remove it when using it, because as you said, if all the oil inside is gone, the pressure readings might be inaccurate! !
This is the filling port for the encapsulation oil of the seismic pressure gauge; there is no need to remove it.
The instruction manual states that the oil level is low and suggests opening the fuel filler; there is a misunderstanding here.
