What are the standard specifications for using O-rings in static seals?

In Chapter 25, Sealing, of the Mechanical Designer’s Handbook, it states that for dynamic seals, a larger wire diameter should be used (except for rotary seals), while for static seals, a smaller wire diameter is required (as specified by standards)； Wait. I wonder what the standard regulations here are? ? I searched in the manual, but I couldn’t find it! ! I hope those who are older can give me some advice. Thank you! !
