We have a plan to add disc springs in our maintenance work. I know that there are brackets designed to support and suspend constant-force disc springs, but I couldn’t find much information about disc springs online. I would like to ask what the specific difference is between disc springs and regular springs, in what situations disc springs are used, and why they are chosen over other types of springs

A constant-force spring hanger is a device that ensures the pulling force of this hanger remains constant within a certain range of movement. For example, in a constant-force hanger with a travel range of 0–200 MM and a pulling force of 800 KG, the pulling force remains at 800 KG throughout this 200 MM range of travel. There is also a variable one. Like ordinary springs, its K coefficient also changes as the stroke varies. The force output by the laboratory also changes.
