As of February 4th, the market conditions for acetic acid in various regions of China are as follows: In the Jiangsu region, the prevailing negotiation prices range around 2700–2800 yuan per ton, with actual transaction prices at around 2650–2700 yuan per ton. In the North China region, negotiation prices are around 2700–2800 yuan per ton. There has been no significant improvement in market activity or transaction volumes. Demand from downstream industries such as those producing chloroacetic acid and pharmaceuticals remains stable, and transaction conditions are acceptable. It is expected that the market will remain stable in the near future. In the South China region, negotiation prices are around 2900–3000 yuan per ton. At present, many downstream manufacturers and traders are still on holiday, so market activity remains stagnant.
