Is the booster in an air separation system intercooled?

I would like to ask how many stages of intercooling are typically used in air compressor rooms (for 40,000 capacity air separation units). Is the booster pump also equipped with intercooling? What are the typical temperatures for intercooling in air compressors and booster pumps? Thank you!
Air compressors come in two types: those with built-in coolers and those with external coolers. The temperature between the cooling stages is generally between 25 and 30 degrees. Air compressors with a capacity of 40,000 cubic feet usually have 3 to 4 compression stages, while boosters use external coolers and have 3 to 5 compression stages; the temperature between the cooling stages in this case is generally between 25 and 32 degrees.
