What is the difference between sulfur ointment and sulfur after being melted?

As the title suggests: Some of the sulfur produced during desulfurization in ammonia synthesis plants is sent to the sulfur melting unit for melting, while some is not. What is the difference between the two? This post was last edited by 42936803 on 2009-2-5 16:29.]
