I just graduated and am working at a petrochemical design institute. Although my major is chemical engineering and technology, since I didn’t study at a petroleum-related university, I don’t know much about oil refining. Although I haven’t started working on the project yet, I’m worried that I might not be as good as others in the future, so I want to start preparing as early as possible and improve my skills. Actually, it doesn’t matter much; the basic knowledge of oil refining is related to courses in chemical engineering. What’s different in oil refining is that specific knowledge about the processes involved in oil refining plants is added to this foundation.
