Hardware issues with DELTAV?

Don’t DELTAV’s controllers and IO devices have any model numbers? In the online manual, I only found specification descriptions; no model numbers were listed there
When placing an order for DELTAV, is it just the Part number that matters?
It seems that it’s all digital I/O; analog signals undergo A/D and D/A conversion within the analog input/output modules. I’ve only seen one DeltaV system, and I haven’t studied it in detail*
