May I ask: What are some good methods for finding the dimensions of cylindrical shell plates? What is the precision requirement?
Generally, the diagonal method is used to find a square; the deviation is equal to the diagonal value plus 3 minus 2. The specific procedure is as follows: first extend one of the sides, use a point on that longer side to locate a point on the diagonal, then use this point to find another point on the other longer side. By comparing the differences between the two diagonals and making adjustments, it is possible to determine the shape of a square.
Diagonal (corresponding sides are equal) method
I only know that the diagonal method can be used; I’m not sure if there are any other more accurate ways to find it
